50 Years...
Last week I photographed a 50th wedding anniversary and to be honest, I didn't know what to expect. After pulling up to their beautiful home, I waited for the family to gather outside and took that time to check out where I would be shooting and couldn't help but notice a huge greenhouse off to the side. After meeting the family, we tried a few quick shots underneath a tree on their lawn but unfortunately it started to rain. Now, considering how I'm not a huge fan of shooting inside (especially when it comes to group shots) into the greenhouse we went and the shoot before the party continued. I have to say, by the time I left I felt like family. Thanks for the great experience, and here is to the happy couple!!!! Congrats again!!

Double Exposures with 35mm Film...
Always wanted to try doing double exposures with film but I never really gave it a shot until recently when I picked up 3 rolls of 200 ISO film. Each roll had 24 frames and each frame was exposed to light twice, giving ghostly effects. This is the film camera that I am using...
And here is what I captured...

Developing an obsession...
Ever since I have started seeing eagles flying around I have went out of my way to try and photograph one. At first is was like a once a week thing, but it quickly turned into that every time I passed the location (about twice daily) I would circle in and check it out. I never captured much from that location, just a whole bunch of sea gulls.
I am spoiled now, Thanks to Darren Park at Four Seasons Tours (Cox's Cove, NL). I highly recommend checking it out!

HDR, love or hate?
So I have been doing a few HDR photos lately, and I always hear people saying that they love HDR's or hate them. I think that there is a time and place for them and when done at the right time it can bring a lot more life and "wow" factor to your image. What is your thoughts on them? Check it out!

What have I been up too?
A few weeks ago I did a team shoot for Magine Snowboards. We hung out all day having a good time and hiking around Marble Mountain. Here are some images of Josh doing his thing.
- For more images from the Magine Snowboards shoot check out their site or facebook page!
I also picked up some new glass, the Canon EF 35mm 1.4 and the Canon EF 85mm 1.2 ii. It was a very big step to take but it is an investment. I haven't really shot a whole lot with it but so far from what I captured I'm impressed. This is a photo of my Father, he thinks that I have rocks in my head, maybe he is right.
- Im sure the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
I have decided to do some self promoting and marketing so I created my own Facebook page. If you like and enjoy my work feel free to follow me on Facebook or Twitter.
